Welcome to The Thunderchief Family
The Thunderchief Booster Club serves the Cadet Wing of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC), Detachment 105 located in beautiful Boulder Colorado.
Detachment 105 serves 10 academic institutions across the Colorado front range. The Thunderchief community is one that values service deeply; service to each other, to our communities and most importantly to our country.
The Thunderchief Booster Club is a certified 501c(3) non-profit that exists to enhance the cadet experience at det 105 by funding activities that the professional military training curriculum of Air Force ROTC cannot .
The Thunderchief Booster Club supports the Cadet Wing, by raising funds, distributing money and resources to cadet activities, and by boosting engagement within the wing. The Thunderchief Booster club is managed by cadets, for cadets with the sole interest of making each and every cadets experience at Det 105 as enriching as possible.
Our Mission
The mission of the Thunderchief Booster Club is to enhance the overall cadet experience by fairly and evenly distributing financial resources to activities that are not considered professional military training.
Why Donate?
Our cadets rely on the generosity of the community, alumni, and family members to fund activities that are unique and vital to the cadet experience. While professional military training (PMT) is paid for by the Air Force ROTC program, activities such as dining out ceremonies, flight and squadron morale events, commissioning ceremonies, and extra non-PMT training such as Field Leadership Exercises, are primarily funded by the Cadet Wing’s funds which are managed by the Thunderchief Booster Club. Your donation to the Thunderchief Booster Club directly supports the cadets of det 105 and is instrumental to the development of well rounded leaders and policy makers for tomorrow’s Air Force.
The Thunderchief Booster Club is a public charity recognized under code 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. Donations are tax deductible and will be used exclusively for the tax exempt purposes of the Thunderchief Booster Club.

Get the latest Thunderchief SWAG at our amazing Thunderchief Shop. All of the items are designed by cadets. Proceeds from the Thunderchief Shop go directly to the Thunderchief Booster Club to support Cadet Wing operations.
